I have been out of town for a few days planning my wedding for this summer. We are in the final stages of planning and I can definitely say that it was one of the best moments in my life when I realized that most of the details have been taken care of to this point and it looks like it will essentially smooth sailing from here until July 5. Big credit goes out to the future wifey for her tireless work and getting us to this point. It is even better to say that the days of watching her exhausting herself day after day to get everything done are basically behind us.

Now back to the topic. It looks like I should take more days off from blogging because the Rangers are coming off two great wins and it seems that we are beginning to see the resurgence of Ryan Callahan. 4 big points in two days is a great way to start a surge, hopefully it can continue Tuesday in Montreal. 

The Yankees are in the midst of the only time a year where a nothing story can turn into the back page. I have to say it is refreshing though. I miss baseball and am anxious to get the season started - I just wish we could skip over all of the “drama” of Spring Training. When it comes down to it, baseball is about green grass, some dirt, a stitched-up ball, some pieces of wood and some leather. Thats is what we all love and want to see. The sooner we get past the syringes, the lawsuits, the rat ex-trainers and the completely benign “pre-season predictions” - the better.

 I think I speak for all of us when I say - Play Ball already!
